Advanced Composite carbon frame
The FastRoad AR Advanced is built on an Advanced Composite carbon frame. These frames are manufactured in-house in our own factories using the highest quality raw materials and advanced manufacturing methods and processes. This results in high stiffness at a low weight, providing excellent ride quality. The stiffer bottom bracket area improves pedaling power transfer, so you can accelerate and climb hills faster with less effort.
High comfort
The Giant ErgoContact saddle and the D-Fuse carbon seatpost, which, thanks to its specific "D" shape, is slightly "flexible" and helps to dampen vibrations coming from the surface, help to achieve the highest possible comfort. Wider tires in the size 700x40c with a fine pattern also contribute to greater comfort and confidence (especially on rougher surfaces). The tires are also tubeless - modern "tubeless" technology brings better riding characteristics and reduces the risk of punctures.
Excellent handling
The frame geometry is tailored to the flat handlebars and allows for a more upright body position for confident control of the bike. Hydraulic disc brakes provide strong stopping power and smooth modulation, which improves bike control, even in changeable weather. The brake calipers are mounted using modern flat mounts, and 12mm solid axles provide the necessary rigidity. The OverDrive fork steerer increases steering stiffness and thus improves bike handling.
